Last Chance Qualifier Competitors
The Last Chance Qualifier event will take place on November 29th, after the Main Field goes through their qualifying bracket.
This event will feature the 12 best substitutes from this season that fell shy of earning a Main Field qualification!
They'll battle it out head to head in an intense racing bracket, and at the end, only one will be entered into the Main Field as our Last Chance Qualifier! Their fastest time on the track during competition, will be used as their qualifying time.
Check out our truck and driver pairs gunning for that final spot!
Earth Shaker
Joe Urie in Earth Shaker was featured on the Biggest and Baddest tour, and made his substitute debut in Tampa, Florida.
His racing record for the season isn't necessarily impecable, going out in Round 1 in Tampa and Round 2 in Indianapolis, but a Dubby Freestyle Championship from Tampa secured him a second show, and some decent looking points.
Closing his season with a total of 36pts, he's the highest earning sub in this competition, and he's eager for that Last Chance Qualifier spot!
Racing record - 1:2
Tailgator
Tim Jones is piloting this beast!
With two shows under his belt, he has some experience behind the wheel that some drivers in the field are missing.
Tim took the Dubby Racing Championship in Anaheim, show 8 for the All Star Challenge tour, taking down names such as Shane Lake in Grave Digger, Devyn Barber in Avenger, and Trevor Goldberg in Max-D in head to head races! This earned him a second show, keeping him in the field as we headed to Tacoma, Washington.
Tim would perform below average for a sub in Tacoma, but the points from Anaheim, helped greatly, bringing his total to a whopping 29pts!
Racing record - 5:1
Batman
John Seasock came back to the name to fill the seat as a sub for Season 2, debuting the truck as the first sub of the season.
The 2-time World Champion would have an overall solid performace, setting the bar relatively high for other subs throughout the season.
In Salinas, CA, he would go out in Round 2 of Racing, losing to Sonic Heroes, but come back strong in Freestyle, earning second place with a score of 33.
He wouldn't earn a second show, but would close his appearance with 21pts, a very solid points earning, as we'd come to find out during the rest of our season.
Racing Record - 1:1
Del Taco's Del Scorcho
Frank Krmel would reprise his old drivers seat in Del Scorcho this season, debuting in Round 9 for Mt. Pleasant, subbing in for main field competitor, Giovanna Hayes, in Megalodon Fire, on the Indy Madness tour.
Frank would stear this truck to a near victory in Racing, becoming our Runner-up, while coming in 7th for Freestyle, even with his semi-successful reverse backflip in regulation time.
The Del Taco branded truck would not earn a second show, but would get the respectable total of 21pts for his appearance, earning this spot in the Last Chance Qualifier event in Las Vegas.
Racing Record - 3:1
Gear Head
Mike Welch drove this truck on the All Star Challenge tour, in Tampa, Florida!
By the end of the night, he'd come short of a second show, but earn a total of 20pts thanks to an appearance in the Semi Finals, and 4th place in Freestyle!
Mike was looking solid in the Racing competition, taking down both Tristan England in JCB Dig-A-Tron and Bari Musawwir in Zombie, before taking his loss to Shane Lake in Grave Digger.
In the past, Mike has been very publicly documented to be unhappy with the, in his opinion, sub-par action at Monster Jam shows. Getting a shot at the biggest stage in Monster Jam history, I'm sure he wants to bring his signature style into the Main Field.
Racing Record - 2:1
El Toro Loco
In the real world, Armando Castro has become a Two-Wheel Skills Champion after an insane Moonwalk to Backflip in World Finals 23!
Once we saw him burn it down in Inglewood we knew we had to feature him on our Biggest and Baddest tour to see what he could do!
Armando would make his debut in Allegiant Stadium, in Las Vegas, earning a shot in Round 2 of Racing, but taking a loss to Alfedo Moya in Dragon.
Heading into Freestyle, we couldn't wait to see what he'd pull out! He ended up taking 3rd place, with a score of 32. Though he didn't earn a second show, 18pts total for a single appearance definitely isn't too bad.
Now, he has a shot at the final Main Field Qualifying spot, but he needs to have a better performance in Racing than he had in show 4. Returning to Vegas, I'm curious if he can hold it together, or if the demons of his last loss will haunt him.
Racing Record - 1:1
Terminal Velocity
This Season, Jon Zimmer Jr. popped out on the Indy Madness tour for show 4, in Elm Mott, Texas!
But this isn't the first we've seen of him! Jon brought out Terminal Velocity for Season 1 on the Custom Chaos tour, where he gave it his all in Tacoma, Washington, for our final show of the season.
This time around, he'd improve greatly from what we saw in Season 1, seeing the Semi Finals in racing, and taking 6th in Freestyle!
We truly thought he was headed for a Racing Championship in Elm Mott. Heading to Sam Boyd, theres a strong potential here, with Jon Zimmer Jr.!

Racing Record - 2:2
Madusa
This season, Madusa missed the Main Field spot for the regular season.
Coming in at show 8, she put down a solid showing in her single show appearance in Indianapolis, on the Biggest and Baddest tour.
Going out in round 2 of Racing, she took out the reigning runner-up, Aiden Wegner in Grave Digger, in Round 1. She came out swinging in Freestyle, though, ending her night in fifth place, with a score of 32.25!
Last season, Madusa took the Tour Championship on the Throwback Tour, earning a grand total of 186pts, thanks to 5 Racing Championships and 2 Freestyle Championships during her main field run.
This time around, as a sub, she only earns 15pts for the single night performance, which isn't too bad!
Safe to say Madusa has the most on-channel seat-time of any sub in the field. That could give her the advantage she needs to take it all the way!
The number below includes information from both Seasons 1 and 2.
Racing record - 23:6
Awakend
The T. Ray guys hold a special place in our hearts, here at RORSRPS.
For Season 2, when we saw Dawson in Shake Me was a Main Field competitor, we knew we had to have a T. Ray face off at some point!
That happened in Show 7 on the Indy Madness tour, in Missouri City, Missouri! Trenton would make his channel debut, looking for a top spot in the competitions.
He'd take a loss to Dawson in Round 2 of Racing, but take the 5th place spot in Freestyle, giving him a total of 15pts for the night. With no second show, that was all she wrote for Trenton in the regular season.
The T. Ray drivers have another shot to face off in the World Finals. Will Trenton get it done this time, and grab that final main field spot?
Racing Record - 1:1
Skeledragon
Skeledragon was recieved very well by fans in Season 1. The truck would earn a Racing Championship in its first appearance, earning a second show, but wouldn't earn a third, having a bit of a rough performance in Paxton, IL, at the Meents Compound.
It would, however, earn a Main Field spot in the World Finals, being the highest earning sub on the Custom Chaos tour. He'd go on to earn a top 8 qualifying spot, a shot at the 2 Wheel Title, and earn a 38 in the Freestyle competition.
This season, Coty Saucier would get behind the wheel for only one appearance, in Charlotte, North Carolina, where he'd go out in Round 1 of Racing, but earn 4th in Freestyle with a 32.1.
In total, this season, Coty got himself 14pts for the night. Not perfect, but enough for a shot at a second World Finals Main Field spot!
The nember below includes information from both Seasons 1 and 2.
Racing Record - 5:3
War Wizard
MJ Noah came out for the Arizona State Fair looking to make a name for himself.
Racing wasn't quite his game, going out in Round 1, losing to Kole Pecka in Amsoil Shock Therapy. A Round 1 loss isn't necessarily uncommon for subs on the channel, that just meant he needed to go big in Freestyle, and go big he did!
Phoenix gave us a small floor, but MJ Noah still turned up, earning a 30.5 in 7th place, and closing the night with a total of 13pts.
Was it enough for championship and a second show? No. But did it get the fans hype and earn him a spot in the Last Chance Qualifier event? ABSOLUTELY!
Racing Record: 0:1
Junkyard Dog
Pablo Huffaker hopped behind the wheel of a Hot Wheels classic for Season 2!
This isn't the first time we've seen the truck either! In Season 1, Junkyard Dog made an appearance as the first sub of the season on the Throwback Tour. He'd end up taking a spot in the finals, losing to Madusa for her first Racing Championship.
This Season, Pablo would do the same in El Paso, making it into the Dubby Final Round, but losing to All Star Challenge tour leader, Shane Lake in Grave Digger. That'd unfortunately be the end of his big points for the night, though.
He'd end his Freestyle run early, ending up in 15th place for the competition, only earning 1 point for said run. A respectable 13pts, but no championship, would put an end to his season.
Heading into Sam Boyd, though, I wouldn't want to play with the Junkyard Dog!
